ദിവസ വേതന നിയമനം മാനദണ്ഡങ്ങൾ സംബന്ധിച്ച് ധാരാളം സംശയങ്ങൾ വരുന്നുണ്ട്.. ആ സാഹചര്യത്തിൽ അഭിമുഖം എങ്ങനെ എന്നത് സംബന്ധിച്ച അനുബന്ധ ഉത്തരവുകൾ പോസ്റ്റു ചെയ്യുന്നു. ഇന്റർവ്യൂ ബോർഡിൽ ഇരിക്കേണ്ടവരല്ലാത്തർ ഇരിക്കുന്നത് പ്രശ്നങ്ങളും ഉണ്ടാക്കുന്നുമുണ്ട്.
In case no teacher joins the schools within a week from the
date of re-opening of school against in the vacant post the heads of schools shall have the liberty to engage
duly - qualified teachers of the locality on daily wages subject to the
following conditions: (see G.O(P) 249.02.Edn Dated 14.08.2002, Thiruvananthapuram)
- The selection of daily wages teacher shall be
made by a committee consisting of the Chairman of the Educational Standing Committee of the Local Self Government
or his nominee, the Head of the School and the Senior teacher in the concerned
subject/language in the case of Secondary Schools and the Senior most teacher, in the case of
Primary Schools (ബോർഡിൽ ആകെ മൂന്നു പേർ)
- The Head of the School shall publish the number and details' of vacancy Date of Interview etc in the notice boards of the school, office of the Local Self Government and Office of the concerned educational officer.
- The Committee shall prepare a panel of duly qualified candidate based on the merits
- The selection of candidate shall be made according to the merit-of the-candidate considering marks obtained for the basic qualification and training qualification, bonus mark also be given for higher qualifications and experience
- All vacancies exceeding one month shall be filled up on daily wages The engagement shall be ordered by the head of the School observing principle of reservation.

Government have received complaints that adequate representation of
Scheduled Castes is not
being maintained while appointing teachers in schools
on daily wages.
Government have examined the matter in detail and are pleased to
Prescribe following guidelines which should invariably be followed in the
appointment of teachers in schools on
daily wages.
- The first vacancy that arises in one academic year shall be filled up on merit basis .
- The Second vacancy shall be filled up by reservation from among SC/ST/OBc Candidates.
- The above appointments on merit and reservation shall be on 1:1 ratio basis.
- If qualified SC/ST/OBC Candidates are not available to fill in the vacancy the same shall be filled up on merit basis
- In filling up the vacancies and maintaining reservation the school shall be taken as one unit.
